What kinds of brake used on slitter rewinder machine
HN1300/1600 with Taiwan Hiwin Magnetic Brake( big diameter will be with Pneumatic Brake), stable and long time, tension control is
good.
Other Brand Slitter use AC motor + Brake, this is old way to control the unwinding tension. AC motor can not control the strength
precision, only can give response roughly, so this system is not good when slit thin film or slit film at high speed, the tension control will
not precisely.
The AC motor is very cheap, one our Taiwan magnetic brake cost is 2 times a AC motor.
