What are Slitter Rewinder Machines?
Slitter rewinder machines perform three primary functions to convert a single large roll into multiple smaller ones. They first unroll the master roll, then slit the unwound material into strips of the desired dimensions. Afterward, they rewind the newly-cut material onto new cores for distribution or use in manufacturing.
Although slitter rewinding machines are commonly associated with paper products and films, they can be used to convert almost any very thin material, including a range of polymers, fabrics, and foils.
