1. Check the thickness of the brake friction plate of the slitter, and replace it when it is severely worn
2. Check whether the straight guide rails of the slitter are clean, and clean them if necessary
3. Check whether the driving belt of the slitter is kept in its proper tension
4. Check whether there is air leakage on the air path of the slitter and whether the air filter is clean. Clean the filter element at least once a month
5. Check the surface of all the rubber covered rollers of the slitter, and do not contact with the slitter cutter to avoid damaging its surface. Remember to use 1 liter of cleaning solution (warm water plus soap or solvent with low surface tension) every week to wipe the roller lightly with a lint free cloth
6. Check the filter of the air extraction fan of the slitter. If there is too much dust and dirt attached, and the cleaning is not clean, replace it in time
7. When the roller is dirty, it can be scrubbed with spinning cloth dipped in industrial alcohol, but it should be noted not to wipe some old parts of the slitter with alcohol, so as to avoid rust
