The operation process of the slitting machine, from starting to stopping, to daily maintenance, each link contains a lot of knowledge. Following the standardized operating steps will not only help reduce the risk of safety accidents, but also ensure the safety and correctness of the operation process.

1. Start the slitting machine
Before starting the slitting machine, a series of preparations need to be completed. First, turn on the electrical isolation switch, which is usually located in front of the electrical control cabinet. Next, press the EMERCENCY STOP RESET and READY TO RUN buttons, and turn the key to the RUN position (this is usually done on the main console). At this time, carefully check whether the voltage is 380V, and confirm whether the current is stable and correct.

Secondly, turn on the power switch of the hydraulic system, which is usually set on the main hydraulic drive frame. Check the oil level and pressure gauge display of the main hydraulic drive system to ensure that they are in a correct and stable state.

Finally, open the pneumatic shut-off valve, which is located on the lower air inlet pipe of the pneumatic control cabinet. Check whether the air pressure is stable and meets the requirements.

After completing the above steps, you can proceed to the next step.
1. According to the requirements in the slitting plan, set the slitting menu for parameters such as the type, thickness, length and width of the film.
2. Retrieve and extract the film file that matches the plan.
3. Set the length and width of the roll according to the selected film specifications.
4. Select a suitable roll-up station, adjust the position of the roller arm and roller, and install the paper core of the corresponding specifications.

Next, perform the operations of loading, film penetration and film splicing.
1. Loading: According to the guidance of the slitting plan, follow the crane operation specifications, and lift the corresponding mother roll from the aging rack at the appropriate time. Place the mother roll properly on the unwinding rack of the slitting machine according to the inner and outer directions of the corona surface, and use the control button to clamp the steel core, and evacuate the steel core support arm and the crane after ensuring stability.

2. Film penetration: If there is no film on the slitting machine, the film penetration operation is required. Through the film threading device and function key of the slitter, one end of the original film is tied to the eye of the film threading chain, and then the film threading button is activated so that the film can be smoothly distributed on each roller along the preset path of the slitting process.

3. Film splicing: When there is film on the slitter and the roll joint needs to be changed, the vacuum film splicing table should be used for operation. First, start the film splicing table to the working position, manually flatten the film on the first traction roller of the slitter, and turn on the upper vacuum pump to suck the film so that the film can be smoothly adsorbed on the film splicing table. Next, apply double-sided tape and cut off the excess film under the tape. At the same time, flatten the film on the unwinding rack and start the lower vacuum pump to adsorb the film flatly. Then, remove the paper layer on the tape and glue the film together flatly to ensure that the joints are neat and wrinkle-free. Finally, turn off the upper and lower vacuum pumps and move the film splicing table to the non-working position.

2. Start the machine
1. Adjust the required specifications, ensure that the inner and outer winding arms have been equipped with paper cores, and put the pressure rollers in standby mode. After confirming that there is no one around the machine, notify all personnel to stay away from the machine and prepare to start the operation.
2. Set the ANTI-STAIC BARS on the main operating table to the AUTO position, turn on the READY TO RUN switch, and then start MACHINE RUN to start the machine.
3. Slitting control
During the operation of the slitting machine, it is necessary to closely monitor the slitting effect, and adjust the slitting speed, unwinding tension, contact pressure, and parameters such as arc rollers, edge material traction rollers and guide edges in time according to actual conditions to ensure the slitting quality.
4. Receiving processing
During the operation of the slitting machine, attention should be paid to the receiving situation at all times. Once problems are found in the receiving, such as the paper core is stuck, too much paper is piled up, etc., the machine must be stopped immediately and the relevant components must be checked to ensure smooth receiving. At the same time, the receiving device must be cleaned regularly to prevent paper from sticking or clogging, which affects the receiving effect.
1. After the inner and outer ends are wound, the machine will automatically stop. At this time, the operator needs to press the film unloading button, place the film roll on the pre-prepared film unloading trolley, cut the film roll with a cutter, and finally fix the film roll with sealing glue.

2. After releasing the chuck, the operator should carefully check whether the paper core of each film roll has been completely detached. If one end of the paper core is still stuck, it needs to be manually removed.

3. After confirming that all film rolls have been released from the chuck and placed on the trolley, the operator can press the film loading button to raise the winding arm and install a new paper core. Then, neatly attach the film to the new paper core for the next round of slitting.

5. Stop operation
After completing the above-mentioned material collection process, if you need to pause or end the slitting work, you should follow the parking operation procedures. First, press the stop button to gradually slow down the machine and finally stop it. Then, turn off the power switch to ensure the safety of the equipment. During the shutdown period, the operator should perform necessary inspections and maintenance on the equipment to ensure smooth operation the next time it is started.
1. When the film roll reaches the predetermined length, the equipment will automatically stop.

2. If you need to stop the equipment immediately during operation, you can press the MACHINE STOP button.

3. If you need a faster shutdown response, you should continue to press the MACHINE STOP button for more than 2 seconds.

4. In the event of an emergency such as equipment failure or man-made accidents, you should immediately press the EMERGENCY STOP button for emergency shutdown.

VI. Safety Instructions
During operation, be sure to comply with the equipment's safety operating procedures to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.

VII. Pre-startup inspection
Before starting the equipment, be sure to confirm that the voltage, current, hydraulic pressure and other values ​​are correct and stable to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.

VIII. Personnel safety
Before the equipment is ready to start, all relevant personnel must evacuate to a safe area to ensure personal safety before starting the machine.

9. Avoid touching the running parts
During the operation of the slitting machine, it is strictly forbidden to touch the rotating film roll or roller core with your hands to prevent dangerous situations such as getting your hands involved.

10. Pay attention to roller core protection
During operation, be careful and avoid using knives or hard objects to scratch or cut the roller core to ensure that it is intact.
